My work is based on ideas/concepts rather than style, pieces are either figurative or abstract and materials are chosen according to what feels appropriate. Inspiration is found in feminist, religious and political sources creating an intensely personal iconography. Every encounter with paper, board or canvas, means working without thinking and working with the images that present themselves.
